These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BusinessOS AI (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

BusinessOS AI provides AI-powered tools that help small businesses answer customers, book appointments, capture leads, generate marketing content, and manage operations. Features available depend on your subscription plan.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record.
• You can cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Plan limits (such as monthly conversation caps) apply as described at checkout.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• send spam, unsolicited messages, or violate any anti-spam or messaging regulations;
• break the law, infringe others' rights, or transmit harmful or illegal content;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to generate replies, messages, and content. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on or sending it. The Service does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

6. Your Customers' Data

You are responsible for the data you and your customers enter into the Service and for complying with all applicable privacy and consent laws when collecting customer information or sending messages. You grant us the right to process this data to provide the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

We own the Service and its software. You retain ownership of your business content and data. You grant us a limited license to host and process it to operate the Service.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
