This Privacy Policy explains how BusinessOS AI ("we") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data: your name, email, and password (stored hashed).
  • Business data: the business profile, services, prices, and hours you provide.
  • Customer & conversation data: messages, contacts, and appointments created through the Service, including via your public chat link or connected channels.
  • Usage data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide and operate the Service, including generating AI replies and bookings.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and provide support.

3. Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We share data with trusted providers only as needed to run the Service:

  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI processing of conversation content.
  • Neon — database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Lemon Squeezy — payments (merchant of record).
  • Resend — transactional email, when enabled.
  • Meta — only if you connect WhatsApp.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your associated data, subject to limited legal or operational retention.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls) to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

6. Your Rights

You can access and update your data in the app, and delete your account (which removes your data) from the billing page. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR; contact us to exercise them.

7. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
